Court Marshalls, Rising High: Part 1 – How It Came To Be & Season I

Court Marshalls Universe, was founded around March 2013, the exact date is lost due to not being recorded. It was founded by Finn Murphy and Kieran Kirk, after they had an argument involving law. That was the argument that changed it all, Finn and Kieran resolved the matters and it later turned into a game. Mr. Kirk came up with the name ‘Court Marshalls’ and on WhatsApp Messenger, , March 2013,  it was born.

On WhatsApp Messenger, Bradley Simmons created many group chats for Court Marshalls to take place in. Court Marshalls itself, was a game that involved many participants to become a different character who had a significant role in that ‘episode’ of Court Marshalls. It was set in a fictional Courthouse, Skyfall Court, in Portsmouth. The main characters were David Johnson (Bradley Simmons), Kevin Mcafee (Kieran Kirk) and Amelia Williams (Bethanie Davies). Court Marshalls changed from a game to a TV series – minus the fact it was not on TV – Season I consisted of 6 episodes which took place from March 2013 to June the same year.

Furthermore, this season’s story-arc was “Who killed Detective Inspector F. Murphy?”, this story arc was quickly adapted and thought of by Bradley Simmons due to the CEO at that time, Finn Murphy, deciding he wants to have no involvement with anything Court Marshalls related. The plot featured criminal Leonardo Prescott played by Nathan Shaw. Throughout Season 1, there were references to Quantum Co. which would become the primary antagonists for Seasons 1 to 4, and the London City Police Department (L.C.P.D. for short.) which would later become the primary protagonists for Seasons 3 to 5. Season I also featured one scripted episode. The scripted episode was planned to conclude Season I and it was written by Bradley Simmons and edited by Nathan Shaw. Titled “Betrayer in the Courtroom…” it involved the trial of Leonardo Prescott – however he was in hiding – the exposure of a undercover Quantum Co. Operative and the death and near-death of Rachel Lloyd and David Johnson.
